I've studied pottery for four years and horsemanship for two, and in my work I have combined my two loves - creating horse-decorated pots, always striving to capture the beauty of the one animal I have loved since I can remember. My horsemanship journal is mostly for me, so I can chronicle the time I spend with my horses, notice and interpret change, lick and chew on those changes and watch how our relationships grow. My other journal has been around for a while and has covered everything from breakups to marriage, ups, downs and emotional roller coasters. It's strange for me to go back and read it, but interesting, even if not to anyone else.
